Silverwell Street
Linking Bradshawgate to Silverwell Lane and Churchgate, once the site of the Silverwell
Street Sports Centre, which was used for many functions as well as a
regular sports centre. It was unusual in the fact it contained the frontage
of a house in the main hall. The sports centre has been demolished, but the
house frontage remains.
